A striking characteristic of the original 2100 sf home was the use of glass that provided daylight and direct views of the naturalized yard and koi pond. With the renovations and additions, oversized glass openings continue to blur the line between the interior and the hill country landscape. Smaller windows on the north and south afford privacy from neighbors, provide ventilation and create controlled views. The master bath is clad entirely in tile with a sunken shower, east facing glass, custom metal work and an underlit onyx countertop. Red oak floors, porcelain tile, polished stone and custom birch millwork pieces were carefully detailed to finish the interior.
